Happy Friday! Today, I am finally unveiling one of our new recurring features for the We Dream In Ink blog. This Fall, when we were re-conceptualizing how we wanted to share our work with paper-loving couples, one thing I knew I wanted to do was visually present how each one of our invitation suites could be integrated into an entire wedding vision and even be a mainstay in forming and executing the overall style of the wedding. Enter a regular inspiration board post for the blog showing off a new design each time!
I’m not a huge maker of inspiration boards, but I love them, and found that when I was creating one around any given invitation set from our collection, the process felt really organic and natural. I am starting this series with the Gramercy suite because it is one of my favorites these days and a bit of a departure from what we usually do, which is more of a rustic/romantic look. I just love how crisp and bold Gramercy is. It is timeless in the way that it is a style that you won’t ever tire of or feel is off trend, but it is decidedly modern too. Sometimes less can be more, and beautiful typography speaking for itself, paired with letterpress, is a striking combination. To me, the board creates a look that is luxe, contemporary, and even a little dramatic with Gramercy at the center.
